The Autonomous Navigation and Perception Lab (ANPL) at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, has an opening for a postdoctoral research fellow to work in the area of belief space planning and data-driven (active) inference and perception/SLAM. Depending on the candidate’s background and interests, the position can involve basic and applied research, as well as experimental validation on aerial and/or ground robots. Funds for some conference travel and research expenses will be provided.
The successful candidate will work with Assist. Prof. Vadim Indelman and will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing multi-disciplinary research efforts while also developing his/her own research line. Applicants should have a Ph.D. (or about to graduate) in Electrical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics. A strong background in at least one of the areas mentioned above is required. Hands on experience and programming skills are an advantage.
