Submission deadline:   June 17, 2011

Notification of acceptance: July 25, 2011

Final paper submission deadline: September 30, 2011

RED-UAS 2011:   November 30 – December 1, 2011

SCOPE

The First Workshop on Research, Development and Education on Unmanned Aerial
Systems (RED-UAS 2011) will be open to all persons interested in Unmanned
Aerial Systems (UAS) and its applications, and is intended to be a forum
where discuss ideas and review works related to the area. Exhibitions and
demonstrations of UAS and related equipment are included in the workshop.

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

All those interested in the topics of Unmanned Aerial Systems are invited to
submit original contributions on methods, technologies and applications, as
well as proposals for demonstrations. A non-exhaustive list of topics
includes:

UAS innovative designs                              

Multi-UAS Systems                                      

Fully autonomous operation                    

See & avoid & reactive systems                              

Planning and Mission Systems  

Sensors & environment perception systems

Reliability in UAS                                            

Innovative Human-Machine Interfaces

Systems for UAS education

UAS educational courses

National & international UAS programmes

UAS concepts of operation

Integration of UAS in airspace

UAS operations and regulations

 

Proposals for regular papers will consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of
10 pages (font Arial 10 pt) single column in English.

Proposals for demonstrations will consist of two pages abstract with the
summary of the demonstration and the means required for the performance.

The Web site includes the templates for submissions. The selected
contributions will be included in the Workshop Proceedings that will be
published in electronic format with ISBN.
