ROSE 2011 - IEEE International Symposium on RObotic and Sensors
Environments  -  Montreal, QC, Canada, 17-18 September 2011

Important dates:

      PAPER SUBMISSION  :  1 June 2011
      Notification      : 15 July 2011
      Final manuscript  : 15 August 2011
      Extended TIM issue: 31 October 2011

The focus of the ROSE conference series is on sensing systems
and technologies for robotics and industrial automation, as well
as on autonomous robotics and intelligent systems development
and applications.

Papers are solicited on all aspects of Sensing Systems and
Technologies for Robotics and Industrial Automation, Human-Robot
Cooperation, Multimodal or Distributed Sensing, and Perception
Technologies. These include but are not limited to: sensor
controlled systems; collaborative manufacturing; inspection and
quality control; human and machine interaction; tele-operation;
robot manipulation; mobile robots; rescue robots; swarm robotics;
robot sensors and vision; robot systems autonomy and energy
management; robotic sensors for environmental monitoring;
intelligent sensing; machine vision and image processing;
3D sensing and modeling; sensor fusion; new sensor technologies;
distributed sensor networks, energy harvesting.

Submit a version of your full-length paper (maximum 6 pages)
electronically as a PDF-format file using the web submission
form available at: http://rose2011.ieee-ims.org

All published papers will appear in IEEE ROSE 2011 Proceedings
and will be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed in EI Compendex.

Authors of accepted papers who will have presented their paper
at the symposium will automatically be eligible to submit a
significantly extended version of their manuscript to be considered
for publication in a Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on
Instrumentation and Measurement.

ROSE 2011 is sponsored by the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement
Society, and organized by the following technical committees:
      TC-15 Virtual Systems in Measurements
      TC-22 Intelligent Measurement Systems
      TC-27 Human-Computer Interfaces and Interaction
