The "iCub & locomotion Workshop" is organized on the 9th of September
2011, jointly with CLAWAR 2011 (
http://clawar2011.isir.upmc.fr/). This
workshop aims at bringing together researchers from the iCub community
and researchers focusing on locomotion for humanoid robots in general.

- Morning - Invited Speakers
Dr. Nikos Tsagarakis , Senior Researcher at the Italian
Institute of Technology, Robotics, Brain and Cognitive Sciences :
"Development and locomotion of the passive compliance CoMAN humanoid
robot".
Dr. Vincent Padois, Associate at Professor at University Pierre
et Marie Curie, Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique :
"Whole-body synthesis of humanoid motion : an optimization formulation".
Dr. Francesco Nori , Team Leader at the Italian Institute of
Technology, Robotics, Brain and Cognitive Sciences : "Whole body
dynamics on the iCub humanoid robot".
- Afternoon - Demos & Panel discussion
iCub demos : "iCub crawling and torque level control".
Panel discussion : "New trends in humanoid robots locomotion".
