The Neuro-Mechanical Modeling and Engineering Lab at the University of
Twente is seeking for an outstanding post-doctoral fellow to work within
the newly funded EU project SOPHIA.

*The opening *is about developing neuro-mechanical models for robotic
exosuit control and injury prevention in factory workers.

*We offer an *ambitious 3-year post-doc position with a generous allowance

*The project SOPHIA *encompasses a large international consortium of
academic and industrial partners. It will realize adaptable and safe
human-robot collaborative environments. Through well-tested sensing
methods, modeling, and control algorithms, SOPHIA will see humans and
robots working together in factory production settings. In this way, SOPHIA
will remove the separation between man and machine to improve factory
output.
