The Robotics and Autonomous Driving Lab (RAL) under Baidu Research has multiple positions at all levels in both Beijing China and USA.

Researchers from RAL will present research demos and perform on-site interviews for potential candidates at Baidu's Exhibition at IROS (booth 8-9) between Oct 1st and Oct 4th.  Please submit your CV to [hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]> early to reserve the interview slots. At RAL, we strongly believe that the most significant advancement comes from the cross pollination of different areas, as such we aim to build a multi-disciplinary team that combines expertise in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, graphics and simulation to study holistic solutions.


RAL also offers the unique blend of cutting-edge research in robotics and applied research in autonomous driving that can directly benefit the large product team on autonomous driving at Baidu. Members of RAL enjoy the freedom in an university research lab while receiving the benefits of strong support (in engineering, computing resources, data sources, etc.) that is only available in the industry.


Publications are encouraged and in fact typically expected. Members of RAL frequently publish in top venues in vision, AI, and robotics.


We have a number of openings in both Beijing and USA offices. The minimum requirements are
?  A PhD degree in related areas, such as CS/EE/ME.
?  Proven publication records in top-tier conferences/journals.
?  Independent problem solving skills.
?  Deep analytic skills and hand-on experiences.
