Mines Mechanical Engineering has an opening for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position. Research specializations of interest include 1) robotics and 2) systems or operations research. Applicants must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely-related field by Aug. 19. About Mines Mechanical Engineering: Colorado School of Mines -- Colorado's oldest public university -- is located in Golden, Colorado, in the foothills of the Rockies, 13 miles west of Denver and 21 miles south of Boulder.  The School's proximity to Denver and Boulder provides opportunities for significant collaboration with government labs and industry as well as other universities. Undergraduate enrollment in Mechanical Engineering is 1,379, with approximately 21% women and 18% underrepresented students.
