at the Technical University Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) invites highly
talented candidates to apply for *PH.D. STUDENTS* with strong interests
in one the following research topics:

·Bioinspired legged locomotion

·Biomechanical modeling of legged systems

·Robot control

·Neuromuscular modeling of biological locomotor systems

·Soft robotics

Students and researchers from the areas of robotics, mechanical
electrical and computer engineering including system design and control,
biomechanics and learning are welcome to apply. The candidates are
expected to conduct independent research and at the same time contribute
to ongoing projects in the areas listed above. Successful candidates can
furthermore be given the opportunity to work with undergraduate and
M.Sc. students.

Currently there are PHD positions available in a DFG granted project

*Position Requirements*
Ph.D. position applicants need to have a Master's degree in a relevant
field (e.g., Robotics, mechanical/electrical engineering or Computer
Science) and have exhibited their ability to perform research in either
robotics or biomechanics.
The required language to speak in the lab is English. We do not need
TOFEL or IELTS (if you have any certificate, please submit with other
documents), but the quality of your language matters which will be
evaluated in the interview at the final round of admission.
Expertise in any of the following items is a big plus for all applicants:

·working with robot systems or assistive devices

·modeling in OPENSim

·performing human experiment and data analysis
