The Robot Swarm Control lab and the Magnetic Manipulation lab of the
University of Houston are searching for a strong Ph.D. student candidate.
A top candidate would have experience in electromagnetics, CAD,
prototyping, motion control of robots, and a passion for swarms of robots.
The candidate must also show interest in medical robots.
The candidate will be part of a team advancing the state-of-the-art of
magnetic actuation for medical applications and share results through
conference presentations and journal papers. Research performed by the team
is both theoretical and experimental. Experience with real-time
computation, computer vision, and biomedical engineering are helpful. This
project is a joint work with the Houston Methodist Institute for
Technology, Innovation & Education.
