 The Visual Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Oxford Brookes
University, led by Professor Fabio Cuzzolin, in collaboration with Createc
Technologies LTD, Oxford, are seeking a Knowledge Transfer Partnership
(KTP) Associate in deep learning for person and crowd activity monitoring
to be appointed as soon as possible.

This is a fixed-term, full time post for 24 months. The deadline for

You will work on a cutting-edge new project, partly funded by Innovate UK,
aimed at developing and testing novel person and action recognition
techniques, based on a combination of multiple sensor streams, eventually
developing into a system able to monitoring the behaviour of groups of
individuals or crowds. You will have research experience in machine
learning for computer vision; a good publication record in these areas, as
well as relevant coding experience.

groups in deep learning for action detection, conducting work at the
current boundaries of human action recognition. Our algorithms consistently
compete for the best detection accuracies, and the team recently designed
the first system so far able to localise multiple actions in (better than)
real time. The team classified 2nd in both the CVPR 2016 ActivityNet
detection challenge (

moved on to postdoc positions at Oxford, Stanford and ETH Zurich.
