[robotics-worldwide] [jobs] PhD funding available | Soft Robotics | University College London

Wurdemann, Helge
Dear All,

Soft robotics is a hot topic.

There is funding available for a PhD studentship on SOFT ROBOTICS at the UCL Department of Mechanical Engineering, by the prestigious Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This is a joint project with Prof. Sarah Spurgeon (Head of the UCL Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Professor of Control Engineering) and Prof. Mark Miodownik (Professor of Materials & Society, https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__en.wikipedia.org_wiki_Mark-5FMiodownik&d=DwIFAg&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=9vcaLtYJJcRIAwHzJQOPegU1TjUj-9G_wCfBPwtTIYg&s=3LzwY8GZaALKRRQE_2llHLthroVbePXq0lx8CfToPZE&e=).

Eligibility criteria are very strict as applicants must
1) be a UK/EU passport holder.
2) have been in the UK for at least 3 years.
3) hold a top first degree in Engineering.
4) be passionate in doing a PhD in robotics.

If you comply with these requirements, please email me your CV. The post will be open until filled.

With kind regards,

Dr Helge A Wurdemann
