*PhD Studentship in Robotics/Cyber-Physical Systems*

The PhD thesis will be in the general area of robotics and cyber-physical
systems. This opening is suitable for a candidate with a Masters degree in
computer science, engineering, or mathematics, with experience and interest
in robotics or multi-agent systems. The successful candidate would have
demonstrated scholarly excellence, have a background in machine learning
and optimization, and very good programming skills. Candidates need to meet
all prerequisites for admission to the PhD in Computer Science (please

The PhD studentship will cover tuition fees at the UK/EU rate and provide a
tax-free stipend at the standard RCUK rate. If you are an international
