[robotics-worldwide] [jobs] PhD positions in AI/robotics

Siddharth Srivastava
[Apologies for cross-postings]

The Autonomous Agents and Intelligent Robotics Lab at Arizona State University has multiple open positions for highly motivated students interested in pursuing a PhD. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and advance the state of knowledge on various research topics in AI and robotics, including hierarchical planning and learning, safety, and explainability.  They will also get to work with the robotic members of the group, which currently include Alfred (a Fetch Robotics mobile manipulator) and YuMi (a high-precision tabletop dual-arm manipulator).

Interested students can get in touch with Prof. Siddharth Srivastava at [hidden email] or [hidden email], with an unofficial transcript, CV, a brief paragraph about research interests and any prior related work or publications. Please use “AAIR lab opportunities” in the subject to respond to this posting.
