positions in the field of human-swarm interaction and Unmanned Aerial
Vehicles (UAVs).

Prospective PhD students should hold a master's or bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer
science/engineering or other related disciplines. Strong background in
control systems and robotics is required. Working experience with C and
Matlab is desired. Fluency in English speaking/writing is required.

Application Process:
Interested applicants should send, in an email with 'HORC-PHD' in the

1. A summary of research background and interests (<500 words)
2. Curriculum vitae including list of publications, if any
3. Contact information for at least 3 references

Review of applications will begin immediately, and applicants are
encouraged to apply by November 15th, 2018.

The research will be conducted within the School for Engineering of Matter,
