for a post-doctoral research associate, beginning January 2018. The post-doc
will support current and developing research projects, with the opportunity
to develop new collaborations and research directions that complement other
research efforts within the lab as part of the scope of the appointment.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in mechanical engineering,
biomedical engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in
dynamic systems, controls, haptics, mechatronics, and/or  robotics. 
Demonstrated experience with human-subject experiments and collaborations
with medical professionals is preferred. The project will be supervised by
Prof. Marcia O'Malley in the Mechatronics and Haptic Interfaces Lab

The initial term of appointment is for one year,
with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and
availability of funding.
