The research engineer will integrate a multidisciplinary research team involved in several nationally and internationally funded excellence research programs.

The candidates must hold a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or in Computer Science Engineering, **obtained in a university located in a country that adhered to the European Higher Education Area (a.k.a. Bolonha Declaration), in Canada, or in USA**. The ideal candidate would have excellent software development skills in C++ and Linux OS, solid experience in software development for robots using ROS (Robot Operating System), experience in pattern recognition and machine learning, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and be eager to get involved in the project STOP. Besides these core competencies, knowledge and experience on mobile robotics and computer vision will also be valued.
