The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University invites applications from outstanding individuals for a tenure track faculty position with primary focus on robotics. The anticipated start date is August 2018, but the search will continue until the position is filled. Though candidates are primarily sought at the assistant professor level, exceptionally qualified applicants at the associate professor level may be considered. This search will consider candidates with expertise in any promising area of robotics, including, but not limited to the mechanical design and control of robotic systems with applications in the manufacturing, medical, service, or space exploration contexts.
