*Two Master Positions with Scholarship in Marine Robotics*

*Job Description*  
Master openings with scholarship for international students are available in the Marine Technology & Equipment Research Group, Institute of Oceanography, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, to design and fabricate innovated marine vehicles. We are looking for motivated students with interest in hardware design, software development and field testing of new concept marine vehicles.

*Educational Qualifications*
A successful candidate must hold a Bachelor degree (by Sep. 2018) in Robotics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.

*Experience and Training*
Any previous research experience in underwater technologies is a plus.

*Skills*
A candidate should have good oral and written communication skills in English. Good programming skills are required.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is one of top universities in the world. SJTU has 17 academic programs entering ESI World Top 1%, among which engineering, materials science, mathematics and computer science are in the World Top 100. The Marine Technology & Equipment Research Group of SJTU is reputable to have developed China's first set of 4500 meters remotely operated vehicle (ROV) "HAIMA-4500".
