The Robotics Design Lab at the University of Queensland (UQ) is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on autonomous decision making in the presence of uncertainty. The person will be working on algorithm design, development, and novel applications of robot planning & decision making algorithms.
The project is a collaboration between the School of ITEE at UQ, DATA61 at CSIRO, and DSTG (Australia Defense Science and Technology Group). This collaboration will allow the postdoc to have ample opportunities to build their network with Australian academic and research communities.
UQ is a Go8 (research intensive) university. It is an exciting time to get involved with UQ's School of ITEE. The School is ramping up its investment in research, and places automation as one of its four focus areas. We offer competitive renumeration, ranging from A$95,407 - A$111,848 (including 17% superannuation), depending on qualifications and experience. Funding for this position is available for up to 4 years.
