Every two years the IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (IEEE OES) sponsors a
collaborative symposium to bring together those working in the field of
autonomous underwater vehicles.
The 2016 edition of this symposium took place in Tokyo. In 2018 this
diverse group from around the world will meet in Porto, Portugal, at the
University of Porto for IEEE AUV OES 2018.
AUV2018 invites the authors to submit abstracts in the following (but not
limited to) topics:
- Vehicle Design
- Vehicle Navigation
- Sensor Fusion
- Vehicle Control
- Vehicle Planning and Execution Control
- Multi Vehicle Systems
- Vehicle Applications
- Open Source Robotics
Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to submit full papers.
Accepted papers will be accessible through IEEE-Xplore with a DOI number. A
select number of papers/authors will be invited to expand on their work for
a Special Edition of the Journal of Ocean Engineering (JOE).
