Dear Colleague,

This is the second call for papers<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__remar2018.org_files_ReMAR2018-5F2ndCall.pdf&d=DwIFAw&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=kFdZrj4g4xK4es0YkWLUSag4lUUa6dcM0RtD8_9-Z34&s=8T2LCX--weDZReMST6MfpXC6IVPJ1_-4W8qTX_e-vys&e=> for the 4th IEEE/IFToMM International conference on Reconfigurable Mechanisms and Robots (ReMAR), which will be organized at the Delft University of Technology in Delft, The Netherlands, on 20-22 June 2018. We aim at a highly inspiring event by bringing together researchers from a variety of research topics with their prototypes and models.

We would like to encourage you to participate and enjoy 'the most creative conference in mechanism science' by submitting and presenting your novel and surprising ideas and results on:

*       Reconfigurable Mechanisms & Robots
*       Lamina Emergent, Pop-up, and Compliant mechanisms
*       Reconfigurable joints
*       Metamorphic Mechanisms & Robots
*       Planar and Spatial Deployable Mechanisms
*       Engineering Origami
*       Kinematics & Dynamics of Reconfiguration
*       Variable Topology Modelling
*       Bio-inspired Self-Assembly and Growth
*       Application of Reconfigurable Systems
*       other related topics

The submission deadline for full papers is: 7 January 2018.

Keynote speakers will be artist Theo Jansen: Strandbeest Kinetic Sculptures; Gökhan Kiper: Deployable Structures; Metin Sitti: Micro Biorobotics; and Jonathan Hopkins: Architectured Materials

Please spread around this announcement, and visit the conference website for further information: www.remar2018.org

Looking forward and best wishes,
