Deadline: NOVEMBER 5th, 2019

Dear colleague,

We would like to invite you to participate at the 1st workshop on
Applications of Dual Quaternion Algebra to Robotics at the 19th
International Conference on Advanced Robotics Belo Horizonte – Brazil,
December 5th or 6th, 2019.
For further details, check the workshop website:

We are seeking 1-2 pages short-papers (extended abstracts) to be
submitted in the double-column IEEE Transactions format. Accepted
authors will give a short-talk oral presentation (3-5 minutes)
accompanied by posters during an interactive session.

 *   SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  November 5th, 2019 (EXTENDED)
 *   Acceptance announcement: November 10th, 2019

To participate, please submit via email to
<mailto:[hidden email]>. For further details
check the workshop website (link above).

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
 *   Robot kinematics;
 *   Robot dynamics;
 *   Robot control;
 *   Filtering and estimation algorithms applied to robotics;
 *   Problems related to perception and automation;
 *   Problems related to different fields: medical robotics, HRI,
drones, among others;

We also encourage papers concerning theoretical contributions,
advantages and limitations of dual quaternion algebra. Papers with
other Lie-group representations to attitude and rigid-body
transformation applied to robotics will also be considered.

 Tentative list of speakers
    *   Fernando Lizarralde, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro
    *   Bruno V. Adorno, Federal University of Minas Gerais
    *   Henrique M. Menegaz, University of Brasilia
    *   Luis F.C. Figueredo, University of Leeds
