All the best in 2018!

Dear Colleagues,

the third International Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales (MARSS) is held from 04-08 July 2018 in Nagoya, Japan here<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__marss-2Dconference.org_&d=DwIGaQ&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=x-SUiQWNFJuMTlAtMOP2otJDkL-8BetlODK748FSLe0&s=aXEnLvS19ohdBOF95s7X-jbk7eDcyNnXbyMW7EvjvGg&e=>. This annual conference is managed by a high-level Steering Committee and technically supported by IEEE-RAS and IEEE-NTC. The Steering Committee has the ambition to develop MARSS to the flagship event for cross-disciplinary R&D communities to discuss current activities in all areas related to manipulation and automation (including measurement and characterization) at micro & nano scales, and in all kinds of small scale robots and their applications.

We cordially invite you to attend and contribute to the conference here<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__marss-2Dconference.org_download_MARSS2018-5FCall-2Dfor-2DPapers.pdf&d=DwIGaQ&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=x-SUiQWNFJuMTlAtMOP2otJDkL-8BetlODK748FSLe0&s=f0Ipos3qrSB1WTM5euJ89wCPwU5hd24ubK9BQA7DDog&e=>. The conference offers 5-6 keynote talks, 16-18 plenary talks and about 30 technical sessions (oral presentations only). Full or short papers on MARSS-related topics are invited, see details here<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__marss-2Dconference.org_submission_paper-2Dsubmission&d=DwIGaQ&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=x-SUiQWNFJuMTlAtMOP2otJDkL-8BetlODK748FSLe0&s=aoIXuH-BI8yc7kSSGS5Pxcd6wvixo8bI0M4A2lnHRDY&e=>. All presented full papers following IEEE format will be included into IEEE Xplore and indexed by Ei. Selected
full papers will be recommended to J. of Micro-Bio Robotics (Springer), and other renowned Journals for publication of Special Issues. The conference also features an on-site exhibition.

Please consider organizing a Special Session at MARSS2018. You may check for details here<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__marss-2Dconference.org_submission_special-2Dsession-2Dproposal&d=DwIGaQ&c=clK7kQUTWtAVEOVIgvi0NU5BOUHhpN0H8p7CSfnc_gI&r=0w3solp5fswiyWF2RL6rSs8MCeFamFEPafDTOhgTfYI&m=x-SUiQWNFJuMTlAtMOP2otJDkL-8BetlODK748FSLe0&s=0uJcpdoA23KMUxeGtl1pI0PI9WwVjf-KX6HJ2qbNitI&e=>.
