[robotics-worldwide] [news] A TERRINet Success Story
Dear Roboticists, you have been hearing about TERRINet recently, and you
may already know WHAT the Project offers (Trans-national Access to 100+
robotics platforms [1] all over Europe).
NOW it is time to tell you a Story of Success about WHO already
completed an amazing two-weeks experience at the desired host
infrastructure to implement an interesting research idea.
A novel algorithm for control of growing soft-continuum robots was
tested on the robotic platform STIFF-FLOP [2] available at the
BioRobotics Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa, Italy)
[3]. The experimental results target the scientific challenges for a
more accurate colonoscopy performance through a novel robotic device for
painless, perforation-free, and hemorrhage-free colonoscopy.
Does it sound interesting? Read the complete story here [4].
Would you like to directly experience and test the TERRINet potential?
Do not miss the chance to apply to the Open Call [5] ***deadline:
JANUARY 31, 2020***
